Guardian can help connect applicants with medical professionals who offer online MMPI evaluations. Guardian collects the MMPI fee, which includes an administrative fee. Guardian does not perform the evaluation. The medical provider conducts the evaluation. Contact the Academy to confirm the current total and arrange your appointment.

Personal Safety & Defensive Awareness

Develop awareness and practical personal safety skills through instruction covering:

Suitable for adults seeking greater personal safety awareness, including current and prospective Texas LTC holders.

Guardian Officer Group Discount
Eligible groups of five or more current Guardian officers receive 10% off:
- 2 hours: $90 per officer
- 4 hours: $180 per officer
Contact the Academy before purchasing to arrange the discount. The five-officer discount threshold does not reduce the regular class enrollment minimum.
Important: SPHERE is separate from Level III initial or renewal training.

Enrollment deposit and payment
A $50 non-refundable enrollment deposit is required to reserve a seat in most Academy courses and applies toward course tuition. The remaining balance must be paid in full on or before the scheduled class date. A deposit transfer to a future course date may be permitted when sufficient notice is provided.

Group classes at available 25N Coworking locations in Waco, Dallas, and Frisco require at least 10 fully registered students. Our goal is at least one Level III class per month, subject to minimum enrollment and instructor, classroom, and range availability. Payment does not guarantee an immediate class date or attendance within a particular month. Guardian will provide scheduling updates.
Equipment and safety
Students are responsible for reviewing course requirements and providing required equipment and supplies. No loaded firearms, live ammunition, or loaded less-lethal devices are permitted in the classroom. Additional classroom, range, and safety requirements are provided for the course.
Attendance and completion
Students must attend all required classroom, practical, and testing portions of a course to receive completion documentation, certificates, or qualification records.

Classes at Our Listed Locations
A minimum of 10 fully registered students is required to schedule a group class. Our goal is to hold at least one Level III class per month, subject to minimum enrollment and instructor, classroom, and range availability.

Instructor Travel to Other Locations
Our instructors may travel to locations outside Waco, Dallas, and Frisco for groups of at least 15 fully registered students attending the same scheduled class.
Travel classes must be arranged in advance and are subject to instructor availability and suitable classroom and range facilities. Any applicable travel or facility charges will be discussed before booking. Contact the Academy to arrange a group class.
